Terms Of Service
St. Pete ABA provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services to clients with autism spectrum disorders and related developmental disabilities. Services include assessment, treatment planning, direct therapy, caregiver training, and progress monitoring. Therapy is delivered by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
Intake Process
Prospective clients must complete an intake packet and provide diagnostic and medical documentation. St. Pete ABA will verify insurance benefits and obtain any required pre-authorizations before beginning services. Intake and therapy sessions will be scheduled based on client/therapist availability.
Payment and Insurance
St. Pete ABA is an in-network provider for major health plans including Cigna, Molina, Simply Healthcare, Sunshine Health, Children's Medical Services (CMS), Florida Blue, and Florida Medicaid. We will bill insurance directly for covered services and assist with pre-authorization. Clients are responsible for co-pays, deductibles, and any non-covered services at the time of appointment. Private pay rates are $130/hr for BCBA services and $75/hr for RBT services.
Cancellations and No-Shows
Clients must provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment without penalty. Excessive cancellations or missed appointments may result in discharge from the practice at St. Pete ABA's discretion.
Privacy and Confidentiality
St. Pete ABA follows all HIPAA privacy and security regulations. Client records are kept strictly confidential and will only be released with written consent, except where mandated by law (abuse/neglect, danger to self/others, court order). Allowed disclosures include coordination of care, insurance billing, and licensing board oversight. Our full Privacy Policy is available upon request.
Limitation of Liability
St. Pete ABA maintains professional and general liability insurance. However, in no event shall St. Pete ABA be liable to clients for any special, consequential, or incidental damages related to services provided.
Updates to Terms
St. Pete ABA reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Clients will be notified via email of any substantive changes that impact their services or obligations.By signing our Consent for Services form, clients agree to abide by these Terms of Service.
